Art Gallery in the YMCA of Sequim
The YMCA of Sequim unveiled a Staff Art Gallery in the Member Lounge in early January 2025. Art works from paintings, photographs and 3 dimensional art-forms were submitted by a variety of Y staff. The new gallery area has made a big impact.
Due to its popularity, the YMCA of Sequim is excited to announce that the gallery is now expanding to include works of art from our MEMBERS!
The Sequim branch is now accepting member submissions on Saturday, Feb. 15th from 10 am - noon. Members who are interested, can submit one piece of artwork they'd like to share with our Y community for a 2-month period of time, through mid April.
In order to be displayed, the artwork must meet the following requirements:
- Be void of images depicting explicit or implied drug use, nudity, sexual content, discrimination or prejudice of any kind.
- Be no larger than 3ft x 4ft for wall art.
- Be no larger than 10" x 10" for display case objects.
- Be made by someone 13 years of age or older.
- In addition, we cannot accept handmade weaponry, such as knives and arrows.
Please note that artwork will be left at the owner's own risk, and we reserve the right to refuse any artwork.
