At the Y, we strive to create a welcoming place for all. Before you visit our facilities, we please ask that you read through our membership policies. If you have any questions, please ask our staff! 

Code of Conduct

We value you as part of our Y community. Help us create a welcoming place for all.

When you access YMCA facilities and/or programs, you agree to:

  1. Uphold the YMCA core values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility.
  2. Provide an atmosphere free of discrimination, hatred, derogatory or unwelcome comments, intimidation, conduct or actions of sexual nature, or actions based on an individual’s sex, race, ethnicity, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
  3. Be respectful of and cooperative with YMCA staff, lifeguards, and others.
  4. Adhere to all YMCA guidelines and codes of conduct.

The following will not be tolerated at YMCA facilities and/or programs:

  • Disrespectful words or gestures towards YMCA staff or others.
  • Abusive, harassing and/or obscene language or gestures towards YMCA staff or others.
  • Threats of harm, physical aggression or violent acts towards YMCA staff or others.
  • Weapons of any kind.
  • Smoking.
  • Damaging or defacing property.
  • Possession, sale, use or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
  • Offensive and unlawful conduct towards YMCA staff or others.

YMCA staff reserve the right to refuse service and membership to anyone who  
violates any of these guidelines.

Facility & Age Guidelines

Membership

● Anyone 18 and older, using the YMCA for the first time, will be required to provide a government issued photo ID prior to admission to the building and allow staff to take their photo for our member/guest database. We reserve the right to make a copy of the presented I.D.

● New members will be required to have their photo taken for the membership database. Current members may be required to provide an updated membership
photo.

● When asked by Y staff, members must identify themselves and provide their age and children's ages.

● All members shall check in at the front desk on arrival and scan in using their membership card. If a member does not have their membership card, Y staff can
check in the member by name. Replacement membership cards are $2 each.

● The YMCA conducts regular sex offender screening on all members, participants, and guests; if a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel memberships, end program participation, and remove visitation access.

Age Restrictions

● Members and guests must be 12 or older to use the facility without an adult guardian. Anyone ages 12 to 17 must have a signed Minor Waiver on file in order to use the facility

● Please review specific age rules for the Pools and Wellness Centers.

Hold Policy

To cancel your monthly membership, you must provide written cancellation 5 days prior to the 1st of the month (or the 25th of the month). Refunds are not available for summer 90-day memberships.

Guest Passes

Try out our YMCA facility for the day with a free guest pass! Everyone gets 1 free guest pass per year. To use your guest pass, see a Member Service Representative at your local YMCA front desk with a photo ID of yourself, and let them know you'd like to use your guest pass. If you have questions about guest passes, please contact the branch front desk.

Members with the Young Adult, Adult, Household I or Household II membership types, will have access to 6 free guest-passes per year, renewed in January.
