Community members and guests may use YMCA facilities with a day pass. As a visitor to the Olympic Peninsula YMCA, you may purchase a day pass at the front desk, as many times as you please. All guests must present a valid ID and sign a facility waiver. Day pass prices vary by location.
Members enjoy free facility use and can participate in most programs at no cost or at a discounted rate.

Currently we partner with "Silver and Fit" and "Fit On Health". Check your health insurance to see if they provide either of these programs and if so, contact the front desk to make arrangements.
There are many benefits to membership including unlimited access to all 3 Olympic Peninsula YMCA branches: YMCA of Port Angeles; YMCA of Sequim; and YMCA of Jefferson County. Members enjoy, at no additional cost, access to fitness equipment, group exercise classes, indoor swimming pools & amenities, Play Care (which is free with household memberships, otherwise $2 per child), plus more! No. Our members enjoy a month-to-month membership term, with auto-renewal until cancelled. We have no contracts for membership! For cancellation policies, please see our Policies webpage.
Signing up for a membership includes a one-time joining fee and recurring monthly dues. Most members pay dues through a monthly bank draft via a checking account, savings account, debit card, or credit card. You can also pay for your membership on an annual basis. When you join the Olympic Peninsula YMCA, you have access to the facilities and services at all of our branches. You should join the branch you plan to visit most frequently (50+% of the time) as your Home Branch.

Yes. Y members can put their membership "on hold" once a year for a time period of 2-6 months. On-hold status requires written notice to the Y by the 25th of the month prior to when the hold takes effect and a date to reactivate to full membership. Hold fees may be applied.

We have locker rooms as well as universal restrooms at each of our branches. Lockers are free for day use. Please provide your own locks. For long-term locker use, please speak to your Member Services Representative for price and locker assignment.

Yes. We offer a variety of programs for our youth, families, adults and seniors. Online registration is available for most of our programs. Registration information is listed directly on the program webpages. For program listings, use the Programs tab at the top of our homepage.

In order for non-members to register for Y programs, you will need to create an account in our reservations system called Daxko. Creating an account provides you with a cost-free login to our registration system and does not obligate you to anything. Your information is only accessible by staff and is not shared outside of the Y.
Firstly, free orientations are available at your request. Once you are familiar with our facilities, you can prepare by wearing comfortable clothing and rubber-soled shoes. Have a water bottle with you during exercise and drink often. Remember to listen to your body. It is OK if you need to slow down and rest or modify an exercise. Communicate to your instructor, Wellness Coach or lifeguard any questions or concerns while you are here. For one-on-one instruction see your Wellness Coach to ask about Personal Training, or the Member Services Representatives for swim lessons. Programs vary by location.
Youth members and guests, ages 12+ are welcome in our facilities without parental supervision, including the Wellness Center and Pool Facilities; please check age guidelines for more information.

Yes. There is a $2 fee for replacement cards. Please see a Member Services Representative.
To update your payment information, including credit card number and/or expiration date, contact one of our Member Service Representatives at the front desk of your home Y branch.
You must cancel your membership a minimum of 5 days before the end of the month. Request must be made in person and/or in writing. See more details on our Policies page.
YMCA members and guests are prohibited from carrying onto YMCA property any firearms, tasers, large knives or other objects that YMCA staff determine to be dangerous to the safety of members, regardless of any valid license to possess.
Out of respect for fellow patrons we ask that you leave your cell phone conversations outside the locker rooms, pool deck, fitness classes and Wellness Center. We have a strict "no photos, including cell phone photos" in our locker rooms.
