Youth Basketball at the YMCA of Port Angeles
One of America’s most popular sports, basketball, was first played at the YMCA more than 125 years ago. The Y has continued the legacy of basketball by offering youth basketball which encourages exercise, and concepts of teamwork and sportsmanship.
KinderHoops
A skill development program designed to introduce pre-school and Kindergarten players to the fundamentals of basketball and team play. This season provides a taste of the sport without overwhelming them. Practices will be once a week with no-score games on Saturdays. Availability for gyms and times will be determined at a later date.
Co-ed teams.
Season Dates : October 21-November 30, 2024
Location: YMCA of Port Angeles, 302 S. Francis St, Port Angeles, WA
Cost : $55 YMCA members; $70 non members
Registration: September 1 - 30th

KinderHoops = Mini-ball; Size 3
Grades 1-2
This 8-week season will consist of 2 practices a week with non-scoring games on Saturdays. Skill development, team work and fun will be the focus of the season with a 8' hoop!

Cost : $65 YMCA members; $80 non members
Registration: September 1 - 30th
